CAITLIN ANDERSON
I’m a graphic designer with 7 years of experience and a passion
for typography and illustration. I had been thinking of upskilling
in web UI/UX last year, and I finally started early this year—and
I’m loving the journey so far! Laying out websites, playing with
typography, and adding color wherever I can has been a perfect
blend of my creative background with structured design. Though
I initially thought frontend development would be all I wanted
to do, diving into backend work has been an exciting challenge,
pushing me to problem-solve and broaden my skills even further.

”Jewellery Supreme” Jewellery Store
Created using Fullpage Js, this is an online high-end jewellery store where every sparkle tells a story.

“Forest & Bird NZ” Website Redesign
Created using React and Wordpress, I have redesigned Forest & Bird NZ’s current website to a more minimal and intentional design for their user’s flow. Using Wordpress I was able to use the extension WooCommerce to create products and cart functionality to create a more immersive and realistic user flow for the website.

“Art Of Food Restaurant” Website Redesign
Created using basic HTML and CSS, this redesign was created during a group project, which includes a couple of my classmates, Baxter McKenzie and Kristine Aquino. Our group redesigned the flow and created a minimal navigation system for users to freely and easily journey through the restaurant’s website and made relevant information more prominent.
