I am a Character designer whose passion is creating diverse and memorable characters. My love for storytelling and my skills in 2D hand-drawn art have deepened. I aim to inspire other Maori to create their own stories and characters.
I want to see more Maori stories told by Maori people.

Amy Baudelaire (Call me if you get lost)
A character from a year 2 project. She is based on a collection of my favourite music personified into a character. The background is actually a piece i drew for a different project i wanted to mash it into this piece.

Amy Baudelaire (Flower Boy)
This piece is based on my visit to the Wellington Botanical Garden. It was my first time visiting that place I liked it and wanted to draw that in one of my projects.

Sir Baudelaire
The first design of Amy Baudelaire At the time I hadn’t come up with a proper design I only knew what clothing style I wanted her to have. The car in the background is based on a Rolls Royce.
Massa
A personal piece based on the song Massa. In this piece, I tried Digital painting, i liked the outcome i tried to use grey scaling when shading the piece.
Maori Design
A personal piece that taps into my Maori heritage. The ta moko on her back is based on a stingray. Her outfit is based on Maori Kapa haka outfits. Te Matatini was a big inspiration for this art piece and is what inspired me to create it. Te Matatini is a national Kapa haka competition with many groups coming from each corner of New Zealand to perform.
